You got dat?...Biscuit this!

Do you like biscuits? Ya know, biscuits and gravy, etc.? Yummy, huh? But also pretty darn filling if you get my drift. Now, how would you like to try a simple, and I mean SIMPLE, recipe for the perfect biscuit that is light and airy, and very yummy.

Now, take a look at these...

Lookin' pretty good, eh? So, do you have these ingredients, brah? You probably do.

If so, let's get started, 'cause this is going to go fast, and so will the warm biscuits when you're all pau baking.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup lemon lime soda
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Here's the recipe:
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Mix together in a bowl the 2 cups Bisquick and the 1/2 cup sour cream
  3. Add 1/2 cup 7•UP, Sierra Mist, or any other lemon-lime soda and mix until dough is consistent (It will be sticky)
  4. Gently pat out on a surface powdered with Bisquick to approximately the size of a 9x9 square pan
  5. Cut onto 9 squares (Think tic tac toe)
  6. Melt 1/4 cup butter and put into the bottom of the pan
  7. Gently place the 9 individual biscuits into the pan on top of the butter, with barely enough room for each to touch, but don't let them touch
  8. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown
Enjoy! No need to butter, but honey on top is awesome

Now, doesn't that look light, airy, and fluffy?
